Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, list firewood, leave reviews, or contact us. This may include name, email, phone, location data, and payment information (processed by Stripe).
How we use it
We use your information to operate the marketplace, process payments, connect buyers and sellers, and improve our services.
Reporting (e.g. location does not exist)
When you report that a location does not exist (or similar), we allow one report per listing per person. If you are signed in, we associate the report with your account. If you are not signed in, we use a device identifier stored in your browser (e.g. in local storage) to limit one report per device per listing. This helps prevent abuse. We do not use this identifier for advertising or tracking elsewhere.
Removal by property owner
If you own a property that is listed and you want the listing removed, you can request removal from the listing page. We verify that you are at the listed location (e.g. by a photo taken at the stand with location data) before removing the listing. We use this only to confirm ownership; we do not use the photo for advertising or other purposes. This process is also described in our Terms of Service.
Data sharing
We share information with service providers (authentication, payments, hosting) as needed to run the platform. We do not sell your personal information.
